MySQL database
Structured Query Language (SQL) is an international standard in querying and retrieving information from databases. MySQL is an SQL compliant database server and it responds to standard SQL requests for information stored in database. MySQL is a popular open source SQL database server, and there are lots of tools available that you can use to communicate with MySQL, including using another popular open source programming language PHP. MySQL hosting on *nix based servers are preferred choice over PHP and MySQL developers for stability reasons.

To create a MySQL database:
Click MySQL databases in website hosting account control panel.
Enter the new database name in Db field.
Click Add Db button and the new database is then added to the server /var/lib/mysql folder.
