Raw Log Manager
Raw access logs is the exact copy of the web server log with all traffic log entries to your website. Web server log gets purged after the web stats program in Cpanel (i.e. Awstats, Analog, Webalizer etc.) has completed the periodic webstats generation, this is to help conserve disk space on web server. However, you do have the option (Raw Log Manager) to keep a monthly archive of of the raw web server log in case you wish to re-generate your website traffic statistic using other web traffic analyzer program. Please do take note that these raw log archives are saved in your website hosting account control panel and it can tak up quite a lot of space if your website is a busy traffic website.
The following options are available:
Archive Logs in your home directory at the end of each month - This option keeps a compressed format raw log file in your hosting account at the end of every month.
Remove the previous month's archived logs from your home directory at the end of each month - This option will always remove the previous month raw log archive when the current month archive is generated. This helps conserve hosting account web space if your raw logs are big.
To setup Raw Log Manager to start keeping archives:
Click on the Raw Log Manager button in your domain hosting account control panel.
check the tick boxes of the desired options to setup the Raw Log Manager.
Click on the Save button to save the settings and activate the Raw Log Manager.
