Adding subdomain redirection

You can setup domain redirection to divert request to a subdomain to another location. This method is generally used when the web page hosting at this original subdomain location have been moved to another location, the subdomain redirection helps maintain a smooth flow of traffic to your website after the moving.

To add subdomain redirection:

  1. Click Subdomains button in your domain hosting account control panel.

  2. Choose the subdomain for setting the redirection from the first drop down list.

  3. Click Setup Redirection button.

  4. Enter the target redirection URL in the field and please make sure the URL is ended with a trailing slash (i.e. http://yourotherdomain.com/).

  5. Click on the Save button.
