Changing the password on an FTP account

It is a a good practice to change your FTP account passwords regularly, this can reduce the risk of unwanted access to your website hosting account when someone has bad intention has found out the correct password of your FTP account.

To change an FTP account password:

1. Click Ftp Manager in your hosting account control panel.

2. Choose FTP Accounts link.

3. Click Change Password button.

4. Enter your desired new password in New Password field.

5. Click Change to submit the new password change request.
