Configure Outlook Express

You can automatically configure Outlook Express email client directly from CPanel hosting account control panel. This is handy if you are setting up a list of new email address in your Outlook Express, which can take quite some time if you are configuring them manually.

Note: This option will only work for the Outlook Express installed in your computer.

To automatically setup Outlook Express:

  1. Click on the Add/Remove Accounts link in the Mail option.

  2. Click on the Outlook (Express) AutoConfig link beside the email account you wish to setup.

  3. Read the message in the pop up box carefully and then click on the OK button. Note that you may need to repeat this step several times.

  4. Click on the Open this file from its current location radio button, then click OK button in the File Download window.

  5. Click Yes button in the Registry Editor window and repeat this for the last window. This email address is then setup in the Outlook Express. You will have to go through the same process for each of the email addresses in your Cpanel screen if you wish to have it setup in your PC Outlook Express.
