Deleting a cron job

When you do not want a cron job to run anymore, it has to be removed from the scheduler, otherwise the cron job will be executed by the schedule at the set interval. It is a simple process to remove an unwanted cron job from the schedule.

To remove a cron job:

  1. Click Cron jobs in cpanel hosting account control panel.

  2. Choose either Standard or Advanced (Unix Style) option as you wish, both will list the same cron job setup earlier.

  3. Click Delete shown beside the cron job you want to remove to remove the cron job.
