Downloading FTP access logs
Frequent checking on your FTP access log can help detect and prevent unwanted access that can lead to serious damages on your website. Downloading FTP logs is useful for monitoring the activities carried out by each FTP accounts, right from authentication failures (potential hack attempt), upload and download activites after successfully authenticated to the server (track illegal files such as bot scripts being used in the account).
To download FTP access logs:
Click Ftp Manager in Cpanel hosting account control panel.
Click FTP Accounts link.
The FTP logs are seen at the bottom of the window, you can eithe click on them or copy and paste the URL into your FTP client.
