Managing MySQL databases

There are several ways to manage MySQL database in the MySQL hosting server, if you are familiar with MySQL shell commands and have access to the shell prompt, you should have no problem managing MySQL databases, since mastering this are considered advance users. There are also web based programs available to manage MySQL databases and CPanel includes a popular open source web based MySQL management tool named phpMyAdmin. This handy tool allows you to easily manage your database including creating or drop tables, browse or edit data in tables and many more. To manage MySQL databases using phpMyAdmin:

  1. Click on the MySQL databases of your website hosting account control panel.
