Removing password protection
If you want to open up a password protected folder to public access, you can just remove the password protection set on the directory, the process will remove the password protection, as well as the access user list, the folder is then publicly accessible again.
To remove password protection from a directory:
Click Password protect directories button on your web hosting account control panel.
Navigate to the protected directory and click on the folder name link to select the folder.
Uncheck the tick box beside the
icon.Click Save button and the removal process is done, password protection is removed from this folder.
