Trace Route
Trace Route is a handy tool for network engineers for network issue troubleshooting, it prints out route info of traffic originating from current location to a remote destination (IP address), with response time on each hop in th eroute, network engineers use this info to determine a traffic bottleneck (high response time on a particular hop) or router issue (traffic stop at a particular hop) and narrow down or speed up the network troubleshooting process.
To use the Trace Route tool:
Click Network Tools in your cpanel hosting account control panel.
Click Trace Route and enter the remote IP address to print out the route info from the server to the destination.
